I booked it many times and recommend. Everything was perfectly fine, thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The rooms they offer were reasonably large and recently renovated with very simple breakfast, private bathroom, fridge. The breakfast had a huge variety of selection, the food was good.

The room and the bathroom were clean and tidy. Location was alright. You can walk to Empire State building or even to Times Sq. (if you are used to walk).
The room was quite small for four people and the air condition was a little bit noisy.

This hotel was more like apartment living in the city. It was small but homey. The rate was great for a week. There was a kitchenette that was equipped with most everything needed. There was wi-fi for a great week long rate. The location was great. The staff were kind to order car service for a rate equivalent to a taxi. Though there was no elevator, the staff did offer to help with your bags up and down the stairs. There was a daily paper provided and a lounge with computer/internet access for guests to use.
The room was not complete on my arrival. What I mean is on the 3rd day I was there, there were 2 bedside tables, a head board and finishing touches to the room that were done. With a kitchenette I expected a coffee maker, especially since there was coffee and condiments provided. There was no mirror in my room and when I noticed that other rooms had one, I asked one of the staff for one, but never got it. The tv cable connection was terrible and there were only about 2 or 3 stations in english, otherwise spanis or hindi. Only other thing is it is not dog friendly, which could have been more convenient, but worked anyway.

The location was great just a short subway ride to all major tourist attactions. Very handy and convent having a microwave an coffee machine in the room.
It had no lift which was pretty awkward getting 2 suitcases up to the 5th floor. The price seemed a bit expensive for what it was.

The room was newly remodelled & large with space for 4 stools, great shower, for instance. The breakfast with pastries and toast, for example was savoury, had so much to choose from.

The location is fantastic, just a minute from the subway, with a CVS nearby for essentials. Rooms, while narrow and showing some age, offer comfortable beds and a kitchenette were great. The staff members were responsive, swiftly addressing our room needs. The overall cleanliness was not up to par. Still, for the price and location, it served our family well.

It was just a good pick for a brief visit in New York with decent value for money. The location right by the ACE train stop was super convenient. Just be aware that the cleaning staff can be quite noisy during the day.
